as an architect
building skyscrapers twin towers
coliseums museums
temples cathedrals
pyramids dungeons even prisons
homes for lost felt space
(at times crooked but always standing)
each place
hold its own design
with intention
glass of connotations
bars of denotations
translate minimalist style into unique nuance
leaving a sensual picture of figurative structure
enveloping streams of metaphors
encompassing shores of similes
capture waves of imagination
emulate/enfold/carry this water of universal truth
from the ground up
to an endless sea of emotion
‘cause that’s the only well/spring of inspiration
from here
each word
is a building rock
crafting phrases into mosaic stories
through windows of a 27-story experience
each letter
is a blueprint
bridging ink of ideas
carving renaissance expressions on faces and times
each sound
has its reason for existence
yet
ambivalent walls of tongue
spit claustrophobic accents
caught in air
choke in time
suffocate its validity
its authenticity
trepidate its insignificance
its irrelevance
destroying its sanctuary with subliminal instability
‘cause
geometrically
without foundation of conviction
there is no elevation
without principle of confidence
there is no conception
concreting voice under a graveyard of cement
but
now i know
poetry
breathes life
into words
my words
stretching
through space
metamorphosizing into
a butterflied gem
my words
carry a life of its own
reflections and inflections
arch with grace
in divine dimension
reaching ears of those willing
to open and feel
drumming an echo
capturing this journey
with me
in idiosyncratic ways
my words
catch speed of infinite angles of possibility
in faith of all good intentions
from my heart
to yours
synthesis of all faces and voices within
is just as valuable as any face and voice
now I know
and I owe
this lesson of influence
to you
this is just the beginning
